Expansion of Pre-Clinical Teaching Facilities at AIIMS
(P.C TEACHING BLOCK)
Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad, Hon’ble
Minister for Health and Family Welfare and President, AIIMS,
laid the Foundation Stone of the Convergence Centre (Post
Clinical Teaching Block) at AIIMS, New Delhi on 14th
August, 2011. HSCC is the Consultant for this prestigious
project. During the foundation stone laying ceremony,
Hon’ble Minister unveiled the model of PC Teaching block and
took a keen interest in the exhibits and appreciated the
efforts of HSCC.
Some of the salient features of
this project are :

It is adjacent to the
Existing P.C. Teaching Facilities and is off the Ring Road
Entrance
-
The
laboratories are to be utilized for Teaching and Research
and would conform to Accreditation guidelines
-
A green
belt is created between this block and the existing blocks
-
Building
is designed to Energy Saving Norms
-
Construction Cost of the project would be Rs. 50.85 Crores
Proposed area for Construction
are :

UNDER
GROUND PARKING FACILITY AT
AIIMS, NEW DELHI
Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad, Hon’ble
Minister for Health and Family Welfare and President, AIIMS,
laid the Foundation Stone for construction of Under Ground
Parking at AIIMS, New Delhi on Ist October, 2011. HSCC is
the Consultant for this prestigious project. During the
foundation stone laying ceremony, Hon’ble Minister unveiled
the model of Under Ground Parking Facility. He also took a
keen interest in the forthcoming projects at AIIMS, such as
Surgical Block, New Wards s and appreciated the efforts of
HSCC.
Some of the salient features of
Under Ground Parking facilities are :
•
The UG Parking would have a
total capacity of l 450 Car spaces and each parking bay
would be of 2.5m X 5.5m. in size
•
Parking would accommodate cars
to the capacity of three box Sedan/SUV (BMW-5 series-
4.72mx1.75m, VW Suv- 4.72mx1.8mx h 2.08m)
•
Four 16 passengers lifts
provided for vertical circulations
•
Driver’s Rest Room has been
provided on each floor with a seating capacity of 80-100.
Level I has driver’s rest room with attached toilet (6 WC &
4 Urinals)
•
At Entry there are queue
spaces for ticketing.
•
Entry/Exit have separate
ramps for efficient traffic movement
•
Bus bays are provided on
Ground level. No parking for buses on basement.
•

HSCC participated in an Exhibition during CII’s 4th Medical
Technology Conference at Hotel The Lalit on August 24, 2011
with a theme of Medical Technology : Accelerating Affordable
and Accessible Quality Health Care in India. The various
session at the conference deliberated interactions between
Industry stakeholders and members of the Government, gaps in
system, techniques for incentivising local manufacturers
etc.
The Conference was attended by huge number for stakeholders
and HSCC largely benefited from this exhibition

| Foundation stone laying ceremony of the
Advanced Cancer Diagnostic, Treatment and Research Centre at
Bathinda. Foundation stone was layed by the Hon'ble Chief Minister
of Punjab Shri Parkash Singh Badal along with the deputy
Chief Minister Shri Sukhbir Singh Badal on
28th October, 2011. On this occasion Sh. Gyanesh Pandey,
Director Engineering of HSCC's was also Present HSCC's has
been appointed as the Project Consultant for
Advanced Cancer Diagnostic, Treatment and Research Centre at Bathinda. |
