HSCC PAYS 72%
DIVIDEND
Shri Gulam Nabi Azad, Hon’ble Minister for Health &
Family Welfare receives dividend cheque of Rs.17.28 million
from HSCC.
HSCC, a Mini Ratna Public Sector Company under Ministry of
Health and Family Welfare, specializing in Design
Engineering and Project Management of Healthcare and
Infrastructure in India and abroad, presented the dividend
cheque of Rs. 17.28 million for the year 2010-11 to the
Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Shri Ghulam
Nabi Azad.
The above dividend cheque was presented by Shri V.C. Sharma,
Chairman & Managing Director, HSCC, in the presence of Shri
Anil Kumar, Secretary (Health & Family Welfare), Dr. R. K.
Srivastva, DGHS, Shri P. K. Pradhan, Special Secretary,
along with its Board of Directors, Ms. Dharitri Panda,
Chief Controller of Accounts of the Ministry of Health & F.W
and Shri Gyanesh Pandey, Director (Engineering) of HSCC,
Shri A. K. Aggarwal, Executive Director, HSCC.
The Board of Directors had recommended a dividend of 72% of
paid-up capital, amounting to Rs. 17.28 million for the year
2010-11, same as that of last year. With this the
cumulative dividend, since HSCC’s inception, stands at
Rs.229 million. It has been continuously making profit for
the last twenty six years and paying dividend. HSCC has
earned the distinction of maintaining its Mini Ratna status
from September 1999 onwards. Company’s Reserves & Surplus
and Net Worth touched an all time high of Rs.763 million and
Rs.787 million respectively.
HSCC has completed many prestigious projects recently like
Sports Injury Centre at New Delhi, Expansion of Sanjay
Gandhi Post Graduate Institute at Lucknow, U.P. Nizam
Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad under Pradhan
Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana.
HSCC is also currently
implementing many important projects such as :
